My problems, building from source , without problems on Mac Os (Big Sur), and using the IDE Android Studio which is a variant of Intellij and a variant that works well with pure Java applications (for years now in my setting)
The plugin "plugins.xml" was not found, and I had to move it manually from ../config/plugins.xml to ../application support/...
Now plugins are loaded and available in the menu, however a new fatal error arrive:
IOException: cannot run "C:/ProgramFiles(x86).... in other words, audiveris thinks it is running on a Windows computer.
I load a PDF one pager with a rather simple score (written by E Grieg). It reads the file and create notes, but insist there are a number of errors. In this situation, I cannot find any advice on how to fix the errors, and I am not allowed to export even though the score looks nice to me. (I will send the score upon request).
Is there an easy fix?
At startup, Audiveris also states that "Unable to setup Mac Os GUI integration", but the GUI looks to be launched anyway. Perhaps this is the java GUI, since it could not load the Mac OS GUI. If so, this is a minor. GUI looks fine
Thanks for any response.
