A table of changed values? And maybe a count of states changed and numerical increases?
Maybe this is a "everything looks like a nail" situation, but I was thinking of repurposing urlwatch for this: the Slack command runs urlwatch against the JSON API (that means there's the 5 minute lag on the data), that outputs some nicely formated output to STDOUT, which the Slack bot reads and sends back to the channel (and archives to a spreadsheet as well).
