i did it and was able to use thingino but I'm not happy with it and would like to revert back to dafang hack which was working smoothly for me. how can I reflash 1.3 fw ? i tried with demo.bin but can't have dafang hack to work as before.

Did you make a backup of your firmware? Installing thingino replaces the firmware entirely.

No i didn't. can I use my other dafang to backup/restore to my bricked one? i was able to restore using usbcloner kernel, rootfs and uboot then demo.bin. do you think it can do the trick?

You might want to check with them on what isn't working smoothly first.

I was able to revert back to my firmware using firmware, it was a pain in the ass to unbrick my cam.
