Identified in ec72f8f

read_time = datetime.utcnow() - timedelta(days=1)

Possibly related to googleapis/google-cloud-python#13350, or deprecation of utcnow in datetime, this sample is failing nightly

For now, I've been removing this sample from any group dependency updates until this issue can be resolved.
