Describe the bug

heroic isnt logging into epic games account even with alternate log in

Add logs

uhm i dont have a usb cable and im in usa so i
dont think i need the vpn

what happens if you open this URL in your browser? https://api.legendary.gl

from the logs it looks like it can't connect to it

its just shows me the logo fro legendary

that's fine then, so something seems to be blocking heroic from connecting to that site, do you have a firewall or application that could be blocking heroic in any way? or a proxy?

Also, maybe try this https://sqlpey.com/python/solved-how-to-fix-ssl-certificate-verify-failed-error-in-python/ it says it's a solution for that problem on Mac devices, installing some certificates

It looks like this is not an issue with Heroic itself from all the results I see, so I'm going to close this and you should ask on our Discord in #-support, there are more Mac users maybe in discord that can help. The issues tracker is for problems in Heroic itself but I see this error everywhere reportes as missing certificates at the OS level.
