Describe the bug

Getting an error here when trying to access Winetricks on any pre-existing or new prefix made in Heroic:

bug: w_metadata amstream has a unix path for installed_file1, should be a windows path

Running 2.15.2 on Steam Deck

Add logs

  1. Go to any game installed
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Scroll down to and click WINETRICKS
  4. See error

Winetricks bug, it has been fixed (and merged), so I guess either something has to be done on Heroics end or somewhere else, either way I guess just sit and wait.

I deleted the winetricks script in ~/.config/heroic/tools and that forced Heroic to download a new one and it started working again.

This indeed works!

Yes, Heroic always downloads the Winetricks script from the Github master (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Winetricks/winetricks/master/src/winetricks) so for recent merges to take effect you will have to delete the file and download again.
