Problem description

Currently, macOS users who rely on Wine for running Windows applications via Heroic Games Launcher experience suboptimal display quality on Retina screens. Although Wine supports RetinaMode via registry modifications, users must manually set the configuration through regedit. This manual process is non-trivial, potentially deterring users from fully taking advantage of their high-resolution displays on macOS.

Feature description

It would be highly beneficial to introduce a one-click solution within Heroic Games Launcher to enable RetinaMode for macOS users. I think Heroic Games Launcher could provide a simple toggle or button within the launcher’s settings that automatically modifies the necessary Wine registry entries to enable RetinaMode. This enhancement would significantly simplify the process, improve the user experience, and ensure that macOS users achieve the best visual fidelity possible with Wine applications.
