I'd like to do a distributed coordinate system transformation in alm space with libsharp, the equivalent of the HEALPix rotate_alm functionality, is there a way to do it?
If it is not exposed to Python, I can help with that

I'm sorry, I've still not got around to implementing this. It's definitely on my todo list, but implementing this properly is much harder than I anticipated, and I'm fairly overcommitted at the moment :(
Hi!
Just wanted to register my interest in this operation as well -- it could provide a much more efficient preconditioner for the Commander CG search for satellite missions, by rotating into the map making equation into Ecliptic coordinates, and define a block diagonal covariance matrix in m-modes. So when and if this does happen, I'd be very interested in serving as a test dummy if that's useful :-)
Thanks!
