There is a weird shadow that only appears on the terminal window, it's easier to see the problem in a dark background.

I'm running Ubuntu 18.04 with gnome 3.30

ArchLinux, Gnome 3.32.2, the issue is not reproducible on my system.
@Pipas check it out again, por favor.

Yes DmHertz I could not reproduce the same in ubuntu.
