[ Session Name ] Build your own private by design voice assistant
[ Primary Space ] Decentralisation

[ Submitter's Name ] Robin Guignard Perret
[ Submitter's Affiliated Organisation ] Snip
[ Submitter's GitHub ] @yxdunc

[ Other Facilitator 1's Name ] Valentin Fage
[ Other Facilitator 1's GitHub ] TBC

What will happen in your session?
In this workshop you will discover Snips's environnement and the best practices on building a performant and private by design voice assistant.

You'll learn:

  • how to create an embeddable voice assistant in Snips' console
  • how to install your assistant on a raspberry
  • how to code a python or javascript program to react to what the assistant is understanding
  • (bonus) how to create a mutli turn dialog interaction in python or javascript

A part of this workshop involves some programming experience (ever so simple) so if you don't have any experience with code come with a teammate who can handle the coding part.

Bring your own computer and if possible pre install SAM (snips assistant manager)
