Dear Authors,

i was intending to purchase this book but saw the last release was in 2020 (3rd edition). Without putting a concrete timeline for the release date, are you at liberty to share a tentative one. Looking forward to purchase ASAP!!!

I have the third edition (purchased about a year ago) and am giving it another read with the lens that a lot has changed in Node since v14. I'm sure that much of the book is still relevant, and I can skip sections that seem to have become less relevant.

I was searching for an updated edition today and came across this repo. Consider me one of the many who are excited for the fourth edition 🙂

Hello all!
I am super excited to see so much interest in a new edition.

I can't disclose an exact (or even an indicative) date right now, but I can only say it's coming soon, so please stay tuned!

Meanwhile, if you have any feedback or suggestions, please send them our way! ❤

I would say, at the rate the tech changes, it's hard to find a book worth paying for… that being said, I'm anxiously awaiting this updated version!!

Would love to see typescript integrated throughout the book, now that typescript has native support in node 23
