So far it seems like depending on the interface chosen the formats are different. The low level memory map seems to have only commands that would be typed in the shell and not the api call, see example of when a bit is written too. As well as data gets merged to an in or a byte array depending on the size. Maybe it would be good to set it to something standard.
For the DUT it seems like all data is returned as a list. I must look into that.
