Hi,
there is a bug report for the Debian package that the imagevis3d package will be removed from Debian in the next stable release if it needs Qt4. I hope you will be able to port this software to Qt5.
Kind regards, Andreas.

Personal life's a bit crazy right now, and that's the only time I'd have for this. What kind of deadline do we have before it gets dropped?
Strictly speaking its the freeze for the next Debian release (may be end
of 2018) but I'd strongly advise to not wait that long since the package
would get no testing. I personally have no experience with Qt but was
able to port a simple program by the help of
http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/sourcebreaks.html
It should not be a big deal for you as the author of imagevis3d.
Kind regards, Andreas.
