No clear statement of license, gang... I'm presuming, based off of the crib from xcompmgr that this is MIT, but there's no clarity in the source code and you probably ought to do that... ;)

And why isn't it up top where it makes sense instead of buried in the *DEBIAN* folder? Not all of us are using what they're using there...and with the new changes, Arch is what they're using- is this getting abandoned?

The license is in the source code files.

blob is just where you look at files on github, (repo page)/blob/(branch)/(file path), so the actual path is just debian/copyright
