As Polish translations of IT terminologies is a piece of s...., we should have a list that presents a convention regarding such cases. From what I have translated so far:
major version - wersja główna
minor version - mniej ważna wersja
semantic versioning - wersjonowanie semantyczne
runtime - środowisko uruchomieniowe
feature - funkcjonalność
breaking change - zmiana niekompatybilna wstecznie
Not sure about:
edge case - przypadek brzegowy
nonsense, however, it seems that such translation is used (rarely)
deprecation - przestarzałość
deprecated - niekompatybilne wstecznie
deprecjacja doesn't mean, what it seems
depending on context, we may use even some words to describe the meaning like deprecate feature - uznać funkcjonalność za przestarzałą
feedback - informacja zwrotna?
Shouldn't be translated:
tree-shaking
no translation in Polish language exists (at least I don't know about one)
RFC
prośba o komentarze is a nonsense
Any other phrases? I think we should keep such list in this issue.
