compile error on german: mv: cannot stat 't-de.gmo': No such file or directory #2662

on Ubuntu 22.04 we only get goaccess 1.5.5, and not only this version fails to recognize %z timezone, it also fails to parse nginx simple time:

Therefore goaccess 1.5.5 is simply broken. Therefore I tried to build it from main following your guidelines and it fails at generating the language translation, which I don;t care about at all. Please can you tell me how to disable language complie from the configure command?

I fixed it by emptying the file po/LINGUAS
Why does it even fail?

What locale are you using? Also, make sure to check out the official deb repo for the latest and greatest updates ;)

hey that is fine, I fixed the bug by disabling the pot part. Just wanted to let you know! I have no clue why this happens or how to fix it, or I would submit a PR. Maybe LC_ALL should stay = to C, I don't know. I use en_US.utf8 for the past 20 years.

That's strange. It sounds like the problem might be isolated to your setup. Could you try testing it on another 22.04 machine? I spun up a vanilla Ubuntu 22.04 machine using Vagrant, and I didn't run into any issues.
