Squarebot provides internal services for Rubin Observatory developers and scientists. Squarebot is built and operated by the SQuaRE team.

Squarebot acts as a gateway for microservices. GitHub webhooks received by Squarebot are shared with downstream services via Kafka. Features that are powered by Squarebot include:

• Documentation indexing for search on www.lsst.io with Ook
• Project creation from lsst/templates with templatebot.

Squarebot runs on the roundtable-prod cluster on Google Cloud.
