Considering use in production

I'm about to launch a productivity app which intends to use basic services like auth, DynamoDB, S3.
I'm assuming these basic services might be far more ready to use in a production env. Since my startup is also gonna be in alpha I might have a little legroom for breaking changes.
I have some doubts though, the project was announced a year ago, and the roadmaps seems kinda empty. Is this project gonna get scrapped or something? If not then are we looking at GA before the end of the year or is it a a few more years down the line?
