Scripting trouble... can't get it to work #27
Comments
Could you provide the IP address and masq for both the controller and USG?
Do you have more info in the event from the controller, since it doesn't
state what unit is not unique.
Kinds regards Bas

… Hi,
Finaly i got the full stack up and running with internet and all.
So i went to try the json settings, provisioned the USG-PRO-4 following
the steps as described...
I had to CHMOD "sites" and "default" i believe, this in order to access
and place the file.
Also SFTP the update_iptv_route.sh script to the router and ran it.
My USG at that time was assigned to 192.168.2.1, my controller is running
on a RPI.
I got the following (event) result in my controller:
configuration commit error. Error message: {"COMMIT":{"error":"Unit number
must be unique.\n\nCommit
failed\n","failure":"1","success":"1"},"DELETE":{"failure":"0","success":"1"},"SESSION_ID":"9182eed7d8bcf06d630d422101","SET":{"failure":"0","success":"1"}}
So i figured that there probably is an IP-conflict, but however there is
no device with that IP, other than the USG itself. Just to be sure i
valdated the json file. Actually all i changed was the mac-address and
changed eth-1 address to "192.168.2.1/24"
So, i wonder if it realy should have been that simple or is there perhaps
some instruction missing?

Hi Bas,
I've set the USG-PRO-4 to 192.168.2.1
My controller is on 192.168.2.104
Mask is 255.255.255.0
I'm advised to try this one: https://github.com/coolhva/usg-kpn-ftth
Thanks
Marco
