Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I'm often concerned that users share links to news articles or posts on social media without reading the full content. This can lead to the spread of misleading or out-of-context information, which compromises critical thinking and the quality of public discussions.
Describe the solution you'd like
It would be helpful if Bluesky implemented a feature that prompts users to open a link before sharing a news article or post, similar to what is already implemented on X (formerly Twitter). When attempting to share a news link, a notification could suggest or remind the user to read the content first. This would help ensure that information is shared more thoughtfully and critically.
Describe alternatives you've considered
An alternative could be adding a tag to links that haven't been opened prior to sharing, indicating that the content was not read by the user. Another possibility could be a softer message, simply encouraging the user to read the article without forcing them to open the link.
Additional context
This feature is already in use on other platforms like X and has been praised for promoting more mindful content sharing. It could help reduce misinformation and improve the quality of conversations on the platform.
