@paulovitorbal there is actually several tests where the PHARs are being built without a Git repository to be present. I also tested it manually and it works fine. The only cases where it will fail is if you attempt to use git related replacement values: https://github.com/humbug/box/blob/master/doc/configuration.md#replaceable-placeholders
