I just installed vhs through my package manager. And when I run the application I was shocked, as it downloads an executable from the web without disclosing it would. I think it is very important to note this in the README it would connect to Google servers and download entire browser to operate correctly. After my research I understand why this is happening, as it is done through a library or application vhs depends on. I think this is important for the user to know before using the program. Please add this as a note to the README.

Also, it running Chrome requires installation of libraries like (libatk-1-0 etc) which power google-chrome.
This makes the dependencies of vhs close to 300+MB on a Ubuntu Server.
It should be mentioned in the README that Chrome would be downloaded and all the dependencies of Chrome should be present.
