DemoFX part 3 is sooo awesome and very very impressive. You did a great job!

Unfortunately the performance on my MacBook Pro (MacBook Pro (Retina, Mitte 2012), 2,6 GHz Intel Core i7, Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Mac OS X 10.12.2) is’t as good as yours… take a look at the attached image.

Hi Tobi, I took the video on my 2011 iMac i7 3.4GHz with discrete nVidia graphics. Just tried it on 2013 MBP with Intel Iris graphics and got even worse performance than yours, 39fps average. Am going to annotate the timeline with what effects were in use at the time and also run JITWatch over the HotSpot log file.

It looks like the shape drawing in JavaFX is the weak spot on integrated graphics. Will see what improvements I can make on my side.

Maybe this bug is almost fixed by using MarlinFX integrated in OpenJFX11+
