Possibility to cancel a drag from external event (prop change)

Hello,

I don't use GitHub very often, I apologize if this is not the correct place to ask this question.

I need to cancel a drag (the same as if the ESCAPE key is pressed), but from an external event, like a prop change. Is there a proper way to do that? I didn't find any function that I can call that would cancel the drag. But maybe I didn't search correctly.
