The list shifts unexpectedly when dragging an item into it

I’m experiencing some odd behavior with list items.
When I’m working within the list, everything functions properly.
However, when I drag an item outside the list and then try to return it, the list jumps up, preventing me from dropping the item back inside.
This issue is quite frustrating, and I would appreciate any assistance in resolving it.

To temporarily address the issue, is it possible to disable scrolling of the outer container during drag-and-drop operations?
