I can't get an example to work with Vite: 504 Outdated Optimize Dep #1526

When I try to import any component or hook using Vite, I'm getting this error: "504 Outdated Optimize Dep."

Has anyone seen something similar and knows how to solve it?

"react": "^18.3.1"
"react-dom": "^18.3.1"
"vite": "^5.4.0"
