"toolchain not available" error after Sept 17, 2024 commits #1095

after latest commits (Sep 17, 2024) I get the following error whenever I run any go command:

go: downloading go1.23 (linux/amd64) go: download go1.23 for linux/amd64: toolchain not available

changing go 1.23 to go 1.23.0 in go.mod solved it for me
