Funny, I began work on a plugin with the exact same name just a few weeks ago! I'll defer to yours if you can add options to automatically open the selected tree item in a) the active tab or b) in a new tab (in both cases without focusing the note, so that explorer navigation can continue uninterrupted). In my plugin I was looking to use the arrow keys to navigate the tree and automatically view the selected item without any further keystrokes, which seems the most natural way of interacting with it.

It would be useful as well to add keybindings to focus the tree from the active editor, and the active note from the file explorer.
