Is there any way to create a custom nuget for Maui locally?
For example, I want to make some modifications to Microsoft.Maui.Controls.Core, but the nugets I generated locally are all 9.0.0-dev.24419.1, which cannot be used with the latest 9.0.0-preview.7.24407.4

Would this work: You can build MAUI locally, put nugets to a folder, add that folder to NuGet.config as a source. ?

Thanks for your reply. I can compile and generate nuget locally, but this will generate all packages. I just want to generate a package similar to 9.0.0-preview.7.24407.5 based on 9.0.0-preview.7.24407.4.

However, this is no longer a problem, I have uploaded the generated package to a private nuget feed

I think that one needs to understand a bit Arcade to generate such packages. There is a msbuild property to generate preview packages IMO. @rmarinho knows how this stuff work.

Yes, I tried to change it, but I was not familiar with many things and failed.

The original plan was to use Net8, but due to some bug fixes, Net9 had to be used, which has been putting the migration of the app on hold.
In fact, if some pr can be merged quickly, I don't need to compile package like this.

With the latest dotnet 9 preview 7 and VS 2022 17.12.0 Preview 1.0, the deploy checkbox in configuration manager dialog is grayed out in a Maui-Blazor-Web app when (targeting) building for Windows. When debugging, the app starts and runs 'normally'. But code such as global::Windows.ApplicationModel.Package.Current.InstalledLocation throws an exception because the was not 'deployed' (no windows package). Running the same code targeting dotnet 8 just works!

The type or namespace name 'Items2' does not exist in the namespace 'Microsoft.Maui.Controls.Handlers' (are you missing an assembly reference?)
