Steps to reproduce

To reproduce

  • On iOS, disable WiFi and enable cell data. (On Android, can use either WiFi or cell data, it doesn't matter)
  • Make a voice or video call between an Android client to iOS client. It doesn't matter who initiates the call.
  • After call connects, talk into either phone until the audio drops. It's easier to see when a video call freezes, but audio works just as well.

Outcome

What did you expect?

Calls should continue working

What happened instead?

On Android: audio works for ~3 seconds, then drops. Status shows "Call connecting..." indefinitely. The call is not disconnected
On iOS: audio works for ~3 seconds, then drops. The call is not disconnected, and there is otherwise no sign that something is wrong
