Log in to ems-esp UI. See text "Customize your dashboard by marking EMS entities as Favorite using the Customizations module." at the top of dashboard page.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR

This text as it is only useful for first time visitors. Later it just creates visual noise and annoys. I expect to have an option to remove this text.

In the latest version the text is different:

It's there because you'd be amazed by the number of users that get confused with the Dashboard and expect it to show all the details and then either email me or BBQKees complaining.

We'll let the community decide, and vote.

sure, all ideas welcome! I was thinking of removing the text and adding a little help button, which, when clicked, expands to give an explanation or help text. It could be added to all pages, which would remove clutter.

Hey mate, this is actually fantastic, compared to what we have now. Should work well as a short term solution, or even as a long term - depends on the feedback from the users who are not that much tech savvy. I do think it will work well, because it's aligned well to F pattern - an area of the screen where users lock their sight for the majority of time when scanning the page, given that - it is clearly noticeable. So if you are somebody who is looking for help - it's right there.
