We collect the emails of all attendees. Yet we never send anything to them beyond a confirmation email. Even that - given the scope of the app - doesn't seem necessary. Removing email from all the flow would greatly simplify the app, also in deployment.

Just confirmed: you don't even need to give a valid email to create an account.
