Hi @Davmuz! The slug package ability to transform codepoints into ascii-equivalents depends on the golang.org/x/text package's transformation tables, which is in-turn driven by the Unicode spec. Is ø defined in Unicode as normalizing to o with some combining character? Is ø phonetically most similar to o?
Note, slug uses the NFKD normalization, and there is certainly perhaps some tuning that could be done to the slug source code to cover a wider variety of inputs appropriately. I'm just looking for information that'll help inform me as the best way to approach this problem.
The rune 'ø' should be converted in 'o'.
