Just installed the new frame update. Using linux mint lts and installing via deb file. I'm attempting to run the frame application. When I try to open it, nothing appears in the taskbar as it usually does and it doesn't open. I see processes for it running in system monitor. But it doesn't actually boot up in the first place.

Same issue in Ubuntu 24.04

When running frame from the terminal the following error occurred:
/opt/Frame/resources/app.asar.unpacked/node_modules/node-hid/build/Release/HID_hidraw.node: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

A JavaScript error occurred in the main process
Uncaught Exception:
Error: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.38' not found (required by /opt/Frame/resources/app.asar.unpacked/node_modules/usb/build/Release/usb_bindings.node)

some reddit user :

'm guessing you are trying to run a program compiled under 24.04 with a later version of glibc. You can blame the dev for not building it versionless. A mistake I have made myself.

NB : Me I am not under 24.04 & we can't just upgrade glibc manually, could break the OS.

I'm also having this issue on pop os 22.04

edit: for now i've rolled back to version 0.6.9 but i had to do a full restart for it to work again.
