Direct links not working with react and single-page-app

Hi there,
any tips on how to get direct links to work when hosting a NextJs static website using single-page-app?

When the links like example.com/foo are clicked with the mouse they work jsut fine, but when the URL is typed directly in the bworser the home page is displayed.
I migrated this app from Amplify to serverless-lift and in Amplify I had to add a redirect rule to get it working. What would be the equivalent with lift?
