A file called codeql.yml is created under .github/workflows by following the instructions on https://docs.github.com/en/code-security/code-scanning/automatically-scanning-your-code-for-vulnerabilities-and-errors/configuring-code-scanning-for-a-repository

The CodeQL scanning appears to function correctly after the codeql.yml file is created, but the grading workflow does not run.

The codeql.yml file must be renamed to codeql-analysis.yml in order for the grading workflow to run.
