can't paste links #2642
Comments
Hi, which version are you using? Can you give me an example of where to coyp from (e'g' a web page) and state your operative system as well? If you are already using the lastest release v1.2.0, can you try the v1.3.0 pre available at https://www.giuspen.net/cherrytree/#testing |
Yep, I can confirm this. Consider the following as an example: here. I'm sure that I'm not pasting the text as a plain text. I'm on v1.2.0 (73), macOS 14.7.2 (23H311). Eventually I'll be able to test v1.3.0 in the next days. |
Is this happening only on the macOS? |
No, windows 10

Is this happening only on the macOS?
I don't have a macOS to test at the moment.

I need more help here in reproducing the issue because when I paste I get a link. |
When I paste text that is a link from somewhere into CherryTree, only the text comes over, which is no longer linked to anything.
So I painfully "Insert Link" and fill out the name and link location, and that works... once. If I try to do it again for another link, only the link to location shows up, not the link name. Can't create another link!
If you will fix the first bug, then I won't have to worry about the second one.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
