Emulator Quirks

Recording requires special permissions. See #1520

In the Android Emulator Extended Controls, you need to turn on "Virtual microphone uses host audio input".
You need to toggle this every time you restart your emulator.
This was added in January 2019 so older versions of Android Studio may not have this issue.
