The Grails Fields Plugin will only load the association widget (views/fields/oneToMany/_widget.gsp and views/fields/manyToOne/_widget.gsp) if it exists in the views directory, regardless of how you attempt to set the widget to another value in constraints or on the f: tag.

This also impacts templates and wrapper
