List Ballerina language as a supported language on the web site #936
Comments
Thanks, @yashykt. @thisisnotapril can I get your opinion/thoughts on the above request. If this is not possible, How about having a separate community section on the supported languages page and list all languages that have gRPC support but are not maintained by gRPC authors. |
@daneshk Have you looked into https://github.com/grpc/grpc-community/blob/main/grpc_ecosystem.md ? Try to get added there? |

@thisisnotapril gentle ping on adding Ballerina to grpc.io |
Apologies for the noise. I'm interested in confirming whether you have any plans to incorporate support for additional languages that work with gRPC, possibly in a separate section like the 'Community' section. Similar to other protocols, such as GraphQL - https://graphql.org/code/ and NATS - https://nats.io/download/. I personally think this addition could greatly contribute to community growth and engagement. |
@thisisnotapril : Gentle ping on this one |
I am Danesh from the Ballerina Language team. We recently released our Ballerina 2201.0.0 (Swan Lake) language version where gRPC is one of the major standard libraries supported in the language. I need to check whether it is possible to list Ballerina Language as a supported language on the gRPC website.
