Summary
Lately, Paybito exchange hbad-usd activity has been odd.
https://trade.paybito.com/view-exchange/#/?pair=hbar-usd

if you look at 24th and 28th data, the rate has been fluctuating from highs of $0.37 to lows of $0.25-$0.28, which is driving ERT's median to be out of bound. Although we clip the rates to be within the 25% bound and the Mainnet and Testnet nodes accept them, this fluctuation is not what is reflected on other exchanges.

Possible resolution
For now, we can disable querying exchange rates from Paybito

  • Remove paybito from ERT to preProd networks. Monitor the results for a couple of days.

  • Remove paybito from ERT to testnet. Monitor the results for a couple of days.

  • Remove paybito from ERT to mainnet
