Broken channel join on mention

Hey, potential bug found with messages/chat. Friend made a new channel, posted something and i got the notification, i even saw the chat message appear but it disappeared quickly. And I can't see any messages. I also see the notification badge (orange circle with a number)...

1. Team member created a channel
2. Only he had access to the channel (the channel itself was public and we are both "owners", with auto join turned off)
3. Team member wrote a post and tagged me in it, which added me to the channel automatically
4. All posts inside this channel were disappearing for me or they would just not show up.

Possible fix : Removing and then adding the user again seems to have solved the problem.
