I notice the home page goes into great detail about how to install it, but says nothing about what you can do with it! It would be nice to get a sense of what it's like to live with it everyday, what types of smart devices it does/doesn't work with, and maybe how it compares to well known commercial alternatives from Apple, Amazon, and Google.

I'm not sure the installation page is the place for what you have mentioned. The features listed half way down on home page has some of the features as well as taking a look at the integrations are supported.

As for comparisons to commercial offerings, this would probably need someone to maintain the features and comparison especially as feature set changes so I wouldn't be prepared to do but if someone else is willing to then great.
