api.coindesk.com ("EXCHANGE_RATE") is either inaccurate or down recently

The price ("EXCHANGE RATE") from api.coindesk.com (https://api.coindesk.com/v1/bpi/currentprice.json) hasn't been too accurate for quite some time, but since a few days it seems stuck at $97'376.5 and is not updating anymore.
At the time of posting this issue api.coindesk.com doesn't even resolve anymore:
