Hi everyone!

After loosing the Zoom account provided by Postman, we now need a new account to manage meetings and recordings. I'd like to suggest we pay the basic Zoom pricing and associate it to the email [email protected].

The price is : 149,88 $

I'd like to ask the TSC for vote about this or propose an alternative tool.

Thanks.

(I am thumbs downing as a signal that I have positive experiences with Google Meet, and/or jitsi for that matter -- but I'm willing to change my vote if anyone strongly wants this, so feel free to push me off of it!)

I'd love to try jitsi :-)

I personally like Zoom (so thumbs up) but don't have a real strong preference. I also use Google Meet on a daily basis and while I feel Zoom is more polished, Google Meet is also good enough. What is more important is to get something and start using it.

I'm 👍 mostly because the most important thing is to get this unblocked so we can start having regular meetings again. I don't care much what we choose.

As someone who chooses open source whenever possible, I'd support choosing Jitsi, but I suspect it doesn't support some of the fancy things we've been using zoom for like AI note taking.

I'm okay with Zoom, but I much prefer Google Meet. My feelings are the exact opposite to Juan's: I feel Meet is more polished, and (specifically) I like that it's browser-first (for desktop), so I don't need to install anything. Zoom is really pushy about making you use their horrible app.

Jitsi does look interesting, but does anyone have experience with it?

This money comes from our Open Collective funds.

Shall we start with google meet instead?

I propose to try Google Meet, since it's free and thus easier to start with. If we face problems or need more features, we re-evaluate Zoom?

I'm open to any solution. No strong preference.
