Feature Request: Lets you add users to a list instead #65

I would love this for helping me migrate curated lists from Twitter to bluesky. There's lots of wealth in Twitter lists that have accumulated over the years, containing lots of network knowledge, even greater now that lists can be used as feeds on bluesky :) Helpful interface would be to enter a list web url, and have a new button appear beside Bonus: This would also help people do successive migrations, because if a non-obvious match is already on a list, there's no need to scrutinize it again during migration (this is for the case where ppl on lists are not actually followed on bsky, which means "follow" status is not helpful when re-running bsky-follower-bridge to see who's be "vetted" already for import) |
Would love to see if Ive already added someone to lists Ive created. Also like watatomo Id like to be able to add them to the lists I have. Since moving off Twitter Ive changed how I use social media. Used to be the 'river of news' where you follow everyone meaning a lot of people on the same topic. Now that just doesnt work well. So Ive started to silo topics into lists I can look at when wanted. Can put all the political commentary in one, news in another, gaming in a third. But since bluesky doesnt let you remove people from your main timeline and still follow (mastodon does this so well) I cant easily tell who I need to add to a list since Ive unfollowed a lot of people. Having the ability for this to look at our lists on bluesky and say who isnt in one would be nice. |
This feature would be particularly useful for reading Twitter block lists and adding them to moderation list — or just a simple feed list, as it is possible to convert one to the other. |
Hello! Sky Follower Bridge has been pretty great so far, especially when there's so much I have to keep track of. Could I request an option to add users to a list rather than follow/block them? I actually add the mangaka I keep up with to a list instead of following them, so this would be really useful.
