It appears that currently Walker is limited to the contents of page it was launched from, that severely limits its usefulness in real-world usage. Is it a limitation of Figma's API or something that could be improved upon?

@ichik thanks!
I'll improve on this!

Indeed it's not very useful if you have a separate components in another page. If there is a performance penalty of indexing all the pages in a project, the plugin can look into a predefined list of names for components pages (e.g. named "Components", "...").

Hi, this is still an issue – my team has a shared component library and Walker doesn't pick up on any of the components within

@kawamurakazushi do you have any planned updates to support Walker accessing shared component libraries? Is there anything I could do to help get that feature request addressed?

+1 for all of this. would be great to use across libraries.

Also wanted to add a +1 to this. Coming from being an avid user of "Runner" in Sketch, I was thrilled to find a similar plugin here. This request is for is a very important feature that'd make this a truly valuable tool, though.

Edit: This seems to be a limitation in the Figma API. I quote:
"Similarly, access to team library content is outside the current plugin model. Third-party plugins being able to crawl an entire organization's assets is a security concern. This is also a solvable problem that requires careful design"
from https://www.figma.com/plugin-docs/whats-supported/

It can be potentially be done with keys, however: https://www.figma.com/plugin-docs/api/figma/ (scroll down to Team Library) but it seems that this would require you to import keys for each component/style individually.
