Neovim: Integrate the quickfixes with native code actions and/or diagnostics

In Neovim, there's native support for diagnostics and code actions. Is it currently configurable to have vimtex errors et co. show up as native diagnostics?

VimTeX uses the quickfix list and the "classical" features here. You may find plugins that can combine this with the diagnostics, but I'm not sure. But it's not something I would be interested in looking into within VimTeX. Sorry!

I believe the language server texlab works well and it should integrate nicely with VimTeX. You could consider testing it, as I believe that it would use the diagnostics and possibly provide some code actions.

texlab is great but doesn't provide errors for things like undefined commands, which don't occur until after compilation. In general, texlab is fine with a lot of things that vimtex rejects, leading to a weird state where the code doesn't compile but Neovim thinks there are no errors.

I haven't really used it much, so I wouldn't know. But may main response still holds. I'm sorry if you find this to be an inconvenience.
