how to config no use bg color for ZSH_HIGHLIGHT_STYLES

Hi, I', using zsh-syntax-highlighting and zcolors, however I prefer zsh-syntax-highlighting's hightlighting and don't want to use background color to hightlight. Is there any way to config zcolors not using bg color for ZSH_HIGHLIGHT_STYLES. I know little about zsh, so sorry in advance if this is a silly question.

Z Colors uses what is in your $LS_COLORS variable. If you don't want the background colors, then remove them from there. 🙂

My lscolor is near default, generated in some way. It doesn't use much of the background color, however zcolors makes many ZSH_HIGHLIGHT_STYLES have a background color. I simply backed up and restored ZSH_HIGHLIGHT_STYLES to prevent zcolors from modifying it.

Your values for su, sg, ca, tw, ow and st in $LS_COLORS all contain background colors. If you don't want background colors, then don't put them there.

Yes, I remove all 40+ (background color) now, but I still prefer zsh-syntax-highlighting original style. BTW, thx you reply.

Starting with 678e870, you no longer need to manually remove the background colors. They are now converted for you automatically.

I don't make regular folder has bg color in LS_COLOR, but zcolor do it and make it hard to read in light theme.
