WSL2 not working on Windows 11

Hello, I have set up a new Windows 11 PC and when trying to install a WSL2 distribution, I receive the following error:

Error: 0x80370114 The operation could not be started because a required feature is not installed.

Even though I have enabled all required features in settings:

I also ran the https://github.com/microsoft/WSL/blob/master/diagnostics/collect-wsl-logs.ps1 script to collect the logs:
WslLogs-2024-08-05_14-05-11.zip
It would be very nice if somebody could help me resolve this issue.

Have you tried running the following commands?:

dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:VirtualMachinePlatform /all /norestart
dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux /all

Make sure to also install the Linux kernel update package using the following link:

Yes I have tried those commands and installing the latest version, unfortunately those did not solve my problem.
I found following error in windows event viewer:

The Hyper-V Host Compute Service service terminated with the following error: 
General access denied error

Please try this and let me know if you have success:

• Note the Virtual Machine ID: Look for the Virtual Machine ID listed in the error message (e.g., ‘VMName’: IDE/ATAPI Account does not have sufficient privilege to open attachment ‘E:\VMs\VMName\Disk0.vhd’).
• Add the Virtual Machine SID: Add the Virtual Machine SID to the .vhd or .avhd file. You can do this by adjusting the security permissions.
• Open “Component Services” from the Start menu.
• Navigate to Component Services > Computers > My Computer > Properties.
• Go to the COM Security tab and click the “Edit Limits” button under Access Permissions

I tried the steps from the first link, sadly they did not resolve my issue.
I think the Microsoft step is HyperV specific, I can not find any SID in the error message, or am I wrong about that? I have found the .vhd file in appdata but this was just created and has a size of 12 MB. I think my problem is that I am not even able to start the service in the first place.
